I have just came to know about the passing of Pauline Bindra's death, one long year after she passed away, while surfing the site. I live in Kolkata, India and had the good fortune to meet her thrice in her shop, in 1990, 1993 & 1995 during my visits to England. I went there to bought books and a few other martial arts equipments for my collection. I heard much about her from my sensei and good friend Nick Adamou. She was truly an inspirng figure who positively influenced many students and instilled in them a love for Karate which remains with us to this day. In researching the dojo, I came to realise what a truly inspiring person she must have been, and this is even more evident in all the tributes above. We hope her spirit lives on, both in the I.S.K. dojos, and at home. Our sincere condolences to Sensei Lee and family. So sad to find out about the passing of Sensei Pauline Bindra.
