Oh Ho!!! I have just came to know about the passing of Pauline Bindra's death, one long year after she passed away, while surfing the site. I live in Kolkata, India and had the good fortune to meet her thrice in her shop, in 1990, 1993 & 1995 during my visits to England. I went there to bought books and a few other martial arts equipments for my collection. I heard much about her from my sensei and good friend Nick Adamou. My thought’s and sincere condolences are with her family and friends. Osu!!!

My apologises for the late posting.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pauline, and although I no longer practice karate and have not seen her in a long time, I hold fond memories of her from way back.

To Lee, Elida, Danny and Jason, please accept my most heart felt condolences, the world is truly diminished by her passing.

Well Lee, what a total shock to hear of your beloved Pauline's sudden death. I know how much she meant to you - really the love of your life in the very fullest sense. A marriage made in heaven and so a really sad loss! I am still shocked now.

Thank God you have a lovely family to support you and for which you and Pauline should be rightly proud. She was a decent soul (indeed a true mensche!) and clearly an inspiration to generations of martial artists. What a legacy! She will not be forgotten.

Best wishes to you all.

Pauline was my first contact with Shotokan Karate when she instructed at the London School of Economics Karate club in 1983. She was truly an inspirng figure who positively influenced many students and instilled in them a love for Karate which remains with us to this day. My sincere condolences to Sensei Lee and the rest of her family.

So sad to find out about the passing of Sensei Pauline Bindra.
My wife and son have just started training with I.S.K. and I will soon be joining them. In researching the dojo, I came to realise what a truly inspiring person she must have been, and this is even more evident in all the tributes above.
We hope her spirit lives on, both in the I.S.K. dojos, and at home.
Our sincere condolences to Sensei Lee and family.

So sad to lose yet another great name in the realms of the martial arts,
But as a child of Jesus. Our sister in both the realm of martial Arts and within the family of Christ Lives on in eternity. Pauline has left her footprints in OUR SAND.
Praise God......

Pauline was and will always be a legend, I never met her but she inspired me and made me proud to be a female karateka. I started Judo at Middlesbrough Budokan then went into karate and I'd heard of her back then in the 80's. My thought's and sincere condolences are with her family and friends. Her spirit and karate will live on. xxx
